Spitz, A Modern Beer Garden Grows in Los Feliz

It's now time for the full reveal of Spitz in Los Feliz, soft open as of August 8 with an official launch slated for late next week. Co-owner Robert Wicklund explains that everything came together really quickly once inspections were passed and he is pleased with the restaurant's finished aesthetic. Designed by Devon Paulson and Celeste Korthase from Celeste Korthase Studio, the team fashioned a modern neighborhood beer garden incorporating two large accordion windows fronting Hillhurst Avenue to create an open feel.

Inside, walls are covered in graffiti art inspired by LA street art and the reclaimed wood fronting the bar and paneling one interior wall comes from Frank Sinatra's old Coldwater Canyon house. There's a vintage shuffleboard table out on the patio for a proper evening of beer games. To eat and to drink, same European street food menu as other locations with a few small additions. Also, all 12 beer taps spout beers from breweries between Santa Barbra and San Diego. Hours of operation run Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday/Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight.
