Peking Tavern Bringing Beijing Street Food Downtown

Terroni isn't the only new spot headed to the 8th and Spring vicinity. Brigham Yen leans that construction will soon begin on an "upscale Chinese gastropub" from Andrew Wong and Andrew Chiu (El Guapo) in the basement of the NCT Lofts underneath Terroni. Influenced by northern cuisine from Beijing, think tapas-style street food plus a bar. Danny Yip, former pastry chef from Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, is consulting on the menu, meanwhile Lindsay Nader of Harvard & Stone and Pour Vous is consulting on intoxicants. Estimated opening: first or second quarter of 2013.
