You wouldn't know it from the website, OpenTable, or even Facebook, but an insider says that chef Wolfgang Puck is planning to reopen doors to his essential Beverly Hills eatery Spago on October 1, and that the restaurant started to accept resys this past weekend. However, there must be a new line or VIP number, because Spago's former phone number leads to an old recording. Either way, being one of the most talked about relaunches this year, scoring a seat at Spago 2.0 is going to be one tough ticket.
As a quick refresh, after its July 9 shutter, Puck hired Soho House designer Waldo Fernandez to update the restaurant's look, and earlier this month Eater caught the above pictured early sneak peek inside the clean, contemporary space. More to come.
