The last time local sausage slinger Maestro Sausage served a sausage sandwich was 1974, after which management seperated itself from Eastside Market (now Eastside Italian Deli) to focus on its wholesale business. For the first time in 38 years Maestro Sausage is popping up at the LA Beer Week Festival on September 30, offering several sausage sandwiches created by chefs Andres Moya (Griffins of Kinsale) and Josh McKnight (The Foundry) to benefit Real Medicine Foundation.
