Blue Plate Taco, the new beachy, farm fresh Mexican joint from those behind Blue Plate and BP Oysterette, opened doors last night at the Shore Hotel. Offering seating for 40 inside and 50 on the front patio along Ocean, designer Tim Clarke mixed a warm, earthy palette with stainless steel and pops of ocean blue. Chairs are made from saddle leather and designed by Jamey Garza, vintage floor tiles are sourced from France and Spain, and Clarke conceived that hanging woven basket chandelier. Blue Plate Taco is now serving lunch, dinner, and drinks daily.
