The Glendale Tap Primes for Launch, 52 Beers on Draft

Although The Glendale Tap or The GT didn't open mid-summer as originally estimated, owner Steve Skorupa (Timmy Nolan's Tavern) sends word that his neighborhood beer bar is just about ready to launch.

While under construction, workers uncovered an old wooden beam ceiling and a couple of brick walls behind stucco, so the design process changed mid-way though and the space transformed more than Skorupa originally expected. While the plan is to serve bites from Timmy Nolan's, this is a beer-focused watering hole with 52 taps (some organic selections), and an additional list of bottled craft beers, ciders, and old-fashioned soda. For fun, two pool tables and a dartboard.
