Spago 2.0's very first review is out thanks to Jay Weston at HuffPo. Weston admits he's a Puck fan through and through, and has nary a negative word to say about the new menu, "a refinement of what has always worked before," which sounds heavily Asian influenced from xiao long bao to a Hong Kong-style steamed Maine lobster. Click through for some grainy photos of the redesign which includes a new brown/white color scheme, two fireplaces, a retractable roof over the patio, an enlarged central dome, reconfigured booths, a 7,000-bottle glass wine cellar, and new art.
