HOLLYWOOD— Months ago Eater received a tip that the Bar Covell team and the guys behind Salt's Cure were joining forces on a new project. Today Urban Daddy breaks news that Storefront (have fun Googling that one), a collaborative deli from the two aforementioned parties, soft opened today on Hollywood Boulevard. [Urban Daddy]

HOLLYWOOD— Chef Luke Reyes and barman Beau du Bois of newbie The Corner Door takeover the kitchen and bar (R & D) alike on October 1 from 7 p.m. to close at Harvard & Stone. From Reyes expect a small plate menu, likely farm-to-table Cali fare, with most dishes priced around $5. [EaterWire]
