Although Yelper Zach D shared first thoughts on Gordon Ramsay's The Fat Cow at The Grove, official word in just now from PR that the American gastropub starts to serve the public on October 1.
Exposed brick, bare Edison bulbs, reclaimed wood, communal tables, this aesthetic as been done time and time again. But that didn't stop AK Design Network from crafting this pubby 200-seat indoor/outdoor neighborhood space as such, further embellished with unpolished metal, tufted booths, and "vintage flea market items."
Originally described as offering more of a European menu, here the eats sound straight up American, such as Lobster Mac & Cheese; Vodka, Tomato, Mozzarella Pizza; and Fat Cow Chicken Sticks. Meanwhile, the bar holds California wine and local craft beer, in addition to fresh fruit cocktails. Still to come is Moo Bar, a retro ice cream counter by the restaurant's entrance selling soft serve ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, froyo, milkshakes, and a slew of pastries.
The Fat Cow will serve lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday night.
