Ricardo Zarate's Paiche Under Construction, But Where?

Although earlier this month The Daily Meal reported that restaurateur Stephane Bombet and partner/chef Ricardo Zarate (Picca, Mo-Chica) were planning a Marina del Rey ceviche spot named Paiche, not all of that information is entirely correct. While the forthcoming restaurant is currently under construction and has been named Paiche, apparently the concept is not yet fully fleshed out and the eatery is at least a few months away from launch.

Based on the name alone though, a ceviche-focused restaurant would make sense. Paiche is a large Amazonian fish, in fact one of the largest fish in the world. It can be consumed raw in a ceviche or cooked, as it's currently served at Mo-Chica.
