Colori Kitchen, a small neighborhood Italian haunt currently situated on 8th and Olive downtown, will open its second home in the short lived Planetalis space just a stone's throw away on Figueroa at 8th next week. Spawned five years ago by chef Luigi Barducci Contessi and wife Paola, this is one of those unfussy, resonably priced Italian restaurants that serves both Caprese salad and bruschetta, but also Parmesan mushroom risotto and salmon with lemon. Management says that the menu for location two will largely remain the same as location one save for the addition of gnocchi and lasagna. [EaterWire]
