Dave Reiss Takes On Shin BBQ in Hollywood

David Reiss is responsible for The Brig in Venice, A-Frame and Sunny Spot with chef Roy Choi in Culver City and Venice, respectively, and just a while back he inked a deal to claim Capri on Abbot Kinney, also in Venice. For the first time, Reiss is leaving the west side to take the reins of Hollywood's shuttered Shin BBQ, the hip Korean grill spot on Wilcox at Selma that folded last fall. Exciting. No word yet on whether chef Choi is involved, however this WAS a Korean barbecue place so seems likely. Choi also told Eater that he and Reiss wanted to open A-Frame on the east side, so maybe this is it?
