The Fox is out again. Chef Jeremy Fox, who has been bouncing around from a Barnyard to an Old Soul, has split from consulting and management company this is not a pop-up. In doing so, he's left Square One in Hollywood, the site of the pop-up. The chef says he is "actively in talks with friends about a new project." A tipster wrote in about a possible collaboration with a certain chef couple in Santa Monica (who happen to be close friends of Fox's) but nothing has been confirmed and the chef would like to keep details under wraps.
Meanwhile, this is not a pop-up continues at Square One with dinners every Thursday through Sunday on an ongoing basis. Each week, a new chef will host a week-long residency, beginning next Thursday, January 17 with Chef James Trees (Michael Mina Group). Also on the roster in the coming weeks are Chefs Adam Gertler, Bruce Kalman (The Churchill), Tyler Wells (Handsome Coffee), and CJ Jacobson (The Mercantile). Additional details, reservations and more information can be found on the website.
