SANTA MONICA—Chef Ray Garcia at FIG restaurant the Fairmont Miramar Hotel has teamed up with Joshua Klapper of La Fenetre Wines in the Santa Maria Valley to launch two signature FIG-brand wines. SILVER LAKE— Today Jose Beltran was sentenced to 77 years to life in prison for the deadly 2011 shooting of Juan David Vasquez Loma in Silver Lake. Vasquez Loma worked as a busboy and server at El Chavo restaurant and also worked at Garage Pizza. [The Eastsider]
