Since its launch just one year ago, 800 Degrees, one of the city's first high quality custom pizza places where pies are fired at around 800° in 60 seconds, has experienced a steady stream of success. The quick serve restaurant is no stranger to lines out the door for its reasonably priced bespoke pies. So, it comes as really no surprise to hear that chef Anthony Carron is looking to expand 800 Degrees to a vacant space around the corner next to Peet's Coffee with a focus on take-out. There's no official deal yet, just speculative talk, but the idea would be an 800 Degrees dedicated to take-out orders and customers would have the option for curbside pickup. [EaterWire]
