Hugo's Tacos Numero Tres Opens Now

Phone: 818-222-7700
Status: Opens today
Hugo's Tacos, the chain that spawned from Hugo's Restaurant's staff meals, opens its third outpost today in Woodland Hills. Two other locations are currently serving in Atwater Village and nearby in Studio City. The valley has no shortage of taco joints, but Hugo's brings a different sort of Mexican-American fusion to the scene. The menu is filled with examples of Hugo's story, of taking a Mexican food, adding Californian ingredients and then adding in enough spice to give it an authentic kick.

Some of Hugo's salsas are even based on taste memories from the staff, dishes they had while visiting Tijuana or Michoacan. As at the two other Hugo's Tacos locations, this menu is fairly simple. There are tortillas, seven different fillings, seven types of salsas and eleven main dish options. Included amongst the offerings are vegan and vegetarian options. To start things off with a bang, Hugo's is offering their breakfast burritos for $3, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Hugo's Tacos Woodland Hills is now open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
