In lieu of a restaurant review this week the LA Times publishes Jonathan Gold's top 10 plates of 2012. It's not always easy to decipher what The Goldster liked and didn't like, but now here's his list which includes juicy crab and pork bun from Wang Xing Ji, the sea snail tostada from the La Guerrerense cart in Ensenada, squid with sea urchin at Shunji, and more.
