Jason Fullilove Leaves LACMA; La Botte Dinner Steal

MID-CITY— Chef Jason Fullilove over at LACMA drops Eater a note to say that he's hitting the road at the end of this month. The chef is decamping from Patina Group to open a new restaurant in Malibu around the end of November. More to come. [EaterWire]

MANHATTAN BEACH— Brickworks Roasthouse & Grill, which was hiring cooks last month, is replacing LA Food Show in the Manhattan Village mall on Sepulveda. [Toddrickallen]

WEST HOLLYWOOD— Back by popular demand, chef Jonathan Peters over at Palihouse is holding another whole animal roast on October 24. This month he's going to serve Cochinillo Asado, a Castilian dish of roast suckling pig. Tapas will start the meal, with Spanish cheese and poached pear plus cinnamon ice cream for dessert. SANTA MONICA— La Botte is offering a pretty sweet happy hour deal. Four courses for $20, Monday to Friday from 5-8 p.m. Total bargain considering one appetizer can run $22. [EaterWire]
