Blockheads Shavery to SGV; Ruth Reichl Applauds Bucato

ALHAMBRA— It's not uncommon, even during colder months, to find a line snaking out the door at Blockheads, the shaved ice cafe on Mississippi at Sawtelle. And despite all the competition in the SGV, Blockheads is expanding with a second shavery in Alhambra at the corner of Garfield and Main. Management plans to open in the next couple of weeks.
