Halloween, the candy holiday of the year, is just two weeks away. And, perfectly in season, Coolhaus is getting ready to debut a new line of candy bars, the first two flavors of which are a milk chocolate Fried Chicken & Waffle Caramel bar and a dark chocolate Dirty Peppermint Paddy bar. To fête both the holiday and candy bars, Eater and our sister site Racked have teamed up with Coolhaus to throw a Halloween party in the ice cream shop's new Pasadena scoopery on October 30 from 8-11 p.m. In addition to ice cream, booze, dancing, a DJ, and Halloween nail wraps from NCLA, Racked is running a costume contest with some pretty fantastic prizes. To gain entrance, e-mail la@eater.com your best trick-or-treat candy-inspired ice cream flavor by EOD Friday and Coolhaus will turn the winning creation into an ice cream flavor served at the party. The top 15 suggestions will score invites. Good luck!
