From one Italian concept to the next. Louise's Trattoria in Old Town was up for grabs though Rocco's Tavern was believed to be moving in. Instead, chef Anthony Carron is in escrow to fling his affordably priced, high quality Neapolitan pizza pies at the corner of E. Colorado Boulevard and N. Fair Oaks Avenue. What's especially interesting about this location though, is that it comes with a full 47 liquor license, as compared to the original Westwood pizzeria which only pours beer and wine. Out with spaghetti and red sauce, in with custom pizza pies.
And, as far as future expansion is concerned, 800 Degrees Santa Monica should open in December, with Monte Carlo (Vegas) in early 2014, followed by SLS Las Vegas in Fall 2014.
