DOWNTOWN— That new restaurant Local, moving into the Colori Kitchen space on Figueroa, will actually be named Local Table per its 41 beer and wine license. Word on the street is that it will function as a sandwich shop. Additional intel welcome in the comments. [EaterWire]

SANTA MONICA— Shutters hotel is upping its cocktail game with new drink director, Tricia Alley, formerly of Providence and the shuttered Eva. Some of her intoxicants — on sale at Coast, One Pico, and the Living Room lobby lounge — are Spiked Aperol Spritz (Akvinta vodka, aperol, grapefruit, and prosecco), the KCRW (cachaca, Green Chartreuse, and club soda), and a Gin Gin Mule (gin, Briottet Creme de Mure, mint, ginger beer).
