Press Brothers Juicery, the upstart juice company by J.D. and David Jones, opened officially yesterday on the Broadway side of Grand Central Market at a humble cart offering free samples. The cold-pressed, all-organic juicery has some unique flavors like the spicy Drop Acid, made with cucumber, apple, arugula, ginger and habanero. Smaller 12 oz bottles cost $6 while the bigger 16 ouncers go for $8. Twitter followers get an extra 10% off their order.
The more traditional GCM crowd seemed to be open to the somewhat pricier, high-quality juice, along with the other new school eateries like Horse Thief BBQ and G&B Coffee. As for a permanent location, Press Brothers is not sure if they'll stay where they are now or relocate to a stall.
