Sriracha Fest Spicing Up L.A. with Tacos, Beers, More

New, 3 comments

Here's an event that all lovers of spicy rooster sauce can get behind. Randy Clemens (The Sriracha Cookbook) and FoodGPS are putting together a gaggle of chefs such as Nadav Bashan, Wes Avila (Guerilla Tacos), Eric Greenspan, Christian Page (Short Order), Ernesto Uchimura (Plan Check) and more for the first annual L.A. Sriracha Festival held at Lot 613 in the Arts District on October 27.

Other producers include Neal Fraser (Friti Dog), Gabe Gordon (Beachwood BBQ), Tai Kim (Scoops), Mexicali Taco & Co, Jitlada, East Borough, and Matthew Biancaniello, who will be making a special cocktail for the event. Drinks featured are Eagle Rock Brewery, Beachwood BBQ, Firestone Walker, L.A. Aleworks, and cocktails by Josh Goldman of Soigne Group. Tickets, available here, run $49 for general admin and $80 for VIP, which gets early entry and a signed copy of the Veggie Lovers Sriracha Cookbook. Event runs from 3-6 p.m. [Eaterwire]
