Spinning Plates is the new documentary film that tracks three vastly different restaurants: Grant Achatz's Alinea in Chicago; 150 year-old Iowa institution Breitbach's; and La Cocina de Gabby, a mom and pop Mexican joint in Tucson. While the movie hits theaters in NY, LA, and Chicago on October 25 (watch clips here), Eater is holding a private screening this coming Wednesday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m., followed by a Q&A with director Joseph Levy. Want to come? The first 20 readers to email SpinningPlatesRSVP@gmail.com win a pair of tickets. [EaterWire]
