New Hours at Nozawa Bar; LYFE Kitchen Expands Again

New, 1 comment

BEVERLY HILLS—Nozawa Bar, the secretish omakase bar in the back of sugarFISH on N.Canon, is changing its seating times as of November 4 to allow patrons time to order additional courses at the end of a meal (which is 20+ plates to being with). New times are Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. When Nozawa Bar first opened in April, management only accepted reservations online with a credit card hold, but they're now taking phone call resys, daily from noon to 2 p.m. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN—The Denny's on S Figueroa between 8th and 9th has shuttered indefinitely, speculates Brigham Yen. A note posted to a window reads, "Due to our kitchen renovation, we will be closed until further notice," but it seems unlikely that the restaurant will make a comeback. Brigham Yen anticipates that "the space will now be marketed to a higher-end culinary concept." [Brigham Yen]

VALENCIA— Another one of those new LYFE Kitchen outlets lands at 24201 Valencia Blvd in the Westfield Valencia Town Center. [EaterWire]
