There's a possibility that the old Gilmore Gasoline Filling Station at 859 N. Highland will be rehabilitated into a drive-through Starbucks by the summer of 2014. According to Larchmont Buzz, Starbucks has yet to file an application, but if the coffee giant decides to move forward it will have to extensively renovate the Historical Cultural Monument, which has sat empty for nearly 20 years. Starbucks would add patio seating plus a walk-up window to order drinks, more greenery, and perhaps vintage embellishments. [Larchmont Buzz]
