41 Ocean Relaunching Nov 6; Porcini at Trattoria Neapolis

SANTA MONICA— Intel in on the 41 Ocean expansion into the shuttered Bamboo Izakaya. The joint property will be rebranded under the name 41 Ocean Restaurant and 41 Ocean Lounge, with the restaurant replacing Bamboo and 41 Ocean Club becoming 41 Ocean Lounge (will remain members-only). The tentative launch for the eatery, which will be designed by Matt Winter (he did the original 41 Ocean) and cheffed by Jimmy Martinez (BOA), is November 6. [EaterWire]
