SBE's two-year-old Italian restaurant on Santa Monica Boulevard, Mercato di Vetro, will shutter on Halloween. However, tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday Mercato will discount all food by half. Explains SBE:

While Vetro had a solid 2 year run, its performance did not meet our expectations. As a result, we've made the decision to discontinue its operations while we initiate the development of a new concept for the space. As sbe continues its expansion nationwide and internationally, we're focusing our resources on the projects that deliver both the highest return to the company and fit our long-term strategic growth objectives. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication of the Vetro team and we deeply value the commitment they've demonstrated in serving sbe's clientele to the highest standard. In the near term, the space will still be available for private events and catering from sbe's award-winning food and beverage brands.
Just a quick look back, in the past 9077 Santa Monica Boulevard has served as Mi-6, Foxtail, Lobby ... and now on to the next.
