The Factory Kitchen is getting into gear at its Arts District space thanks to continuous work by crews on site. Matteo Ferdinandi and chef Angelo Auriana had thought an opening earlier in Fall was possible, but the final permits are still in process. The large dining room definitely has an open, loft feel while a wide open kitchen stands toward the back. The concept involves traditional Italian fare using lighter ingredients during lunch and a trattoria-style menu at dinner. One of the most anticipated restaurants to open this season, The Factory Kitchen should be debuting in the coming weeks.
