Night + Market Song Trying to Open by Christmas

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Night + Market chef and owner Kris Yenbamroong is gearing up to open a second branch of his popular Thai street food restaurant, Night + Market Song, in Silver Lake. However, Yenbamroong is keeping the restaurant's location on the DL, only posting a few hints here and there. This second outlet, one of the most anticipated openings in LA, was originally slated to open this past summer, but now should debut by Christmas.

Yenbamroong drops Eater a note to say that the building is still under wraps until the final phase of construction, which should be completed around Thanksgiving. The few weeks in between Turkey Day and Christmas will involve a trip to Thailand for Yenbamroong, likely for research purposes.
