And this is The Powder Room, a small drinking boite from The Libertine Group (Saint Felix), soft opening November 14 with a full release planned for November 22. White snake skin bar stools and a black marble-topped bar occupy prime real estate, also note curved wood walls and storefront-esque windows, all of which were inspired by imagery associated with Hollywood studio glamour.
Luke Andes (Providence), Jayme Mandeville (Drago Centro), Nadia Underwood (STK) together created the drinks list here, which centers on craft cocktails made with fresh juices, syrups, tonics, etc. Meanwhile, Adrian Biggs (La Descarga) is working on a $500 milkshake that involves edible gold, Belgian chocolate, and a take-home Swarovski Crystal ring.
