Barkowski in Santa Monica; Le Petit Jardin Takes Bitcoins

New, 3 comments

SANTA MONICA— Westside watering hole Bar Pico will be rebranded into a new drinkery called Barkowski. A one Richard Miller is behind the venue, more to come. [EaterWire]

LAX— On Thursday Urbanspoon will publish a piece on the best airport dining across the country. In LA, the top airport and airport-adjacent eats come from In-N-Out Burger, Pink's Hot Dogs, and La Brea Bakery. Which is especially interesting since Pink's at LAX is closed. And clearly this isn't counting the new Tom Bradley Terminal. [Urbanspoon]

WEST LA— Le Petit Jardin, a hybrid French bistro and flower shop on S. Robertson, has started to accept bitcoins, a form of online currency. LAist notes that this is likely the first restaurant in Los Angeles to take bitcoins and the upside is that for a business they are cheaper to accept than credit cards. [LAist]
