Mabel's Opening Soon; Coolhaus' New Ice Cream Bars

CULVER CITY/PASADENA— In addition to recently launching a candy bar line, ice cream scoopers Natasha Case and Freya Estreller over at Coolhaus have also added chocolate-dipped ice cream bars in three flavors (Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream dipped in salted caramel milk chocolate and rolled in pretzels; coffee ice cream dipped in salted milk chocolate and rolled in crushed chocolate cookies; and chocolate hazelnut ice cream dipped in salted milk chocolate and rolled in crushed almonds) and seasonal ice cream pies (Bourbon Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Marshie) to their dessert roster. The bars are for sale at both Coohaus shops plus online, with national distribution in the works. Meanwhile, the pies are a holiday special and can be pre-ordered until November 21, available for pick-up in Culver City on November 26 and 27. [EaterWire]
