Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Chef Susan Feniger of the shuttered STREET talks to LA Weekly about her defunct three year old restaurant, which is now being converted into Mud Hen Tavern. Says Feniger, "It just never translated well. It might be the neighborhood -- if we had opened in Silver Lake or on Rose Ave. in Venice maybe it would have been different. Also, it maybe could have been more relaxed, I maybe wanted it to feel a little dumpier. It was too much of a commitment, it felt like you should go there for a special occasion." [LAW]
