Pumpkin Spice. Gingerbread. Peppermint. Eggnog. They're all back this time of year, when Starbucks rolls out its familiar and overly sweet concoctions at cafes around the country. Yet one of L.A.'s top coffee bars, Go Get Em Tiger in Larchmont, is recreating the drinks on Thanksgiving morning from opening to about noon. But instead of syrups, each drink will be made with real ingredients and the care of a competition barista. They'll be served both hot and cold, in shakes, and made with top-grade coffee that's typically served at GGET, like Heart Roasters, 49th Parallel, and George Howell. It's the one chance for all the hipster coffee aficionados around town to get their holiday fix without losing street cred.
