Bakeries in LA are still knocking off the cronut. Last week Farshid Hakim of La Provence Patisserie in Beverly Hills introduced the Play-Dough-Nut, half croissant-half donut for $5 a pop in flavors caramel pumpkin spice, Boston cream pie, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar and maple.
