B Sweet Dessert Bar Headed to Sawtelle w Bread Pudding

Barb Batiste of B Sweet Catering is planting her roving dessert operation in a brick and mortar on Sawtelle, not far from Tsujita, Coffee Tomo, and that hotbed of dining activity. With the lease squared away, design plans should be completed this week and Batiste expects construction to commence in the next week or two. B Sweet Dessert Bar will center on Batiste's hot bread pudding, which comes in 20+ flavors like green tea and s'mores. She'll also sell cupcakes-in-a-jar, slutty brownies, pies, cookies, and cheesecakes — basically a similar menu as offered off her dessert trucks. Finally, a Milk Bar and Soda Bar are in the works, to offer almond, soy, rice and dairy milks plus floats, coffee and more. [EaterWire]
