41 Ocean Prepping for November 12 Relaunch in SaMo

Just a tad behind schedule, 41 Ocean's relocated restaurant is set to part doors on November 12. As a recap, 41 Ocean Restaurant is moving into the Ocean Avenue space previously inhabited by Bamboo Izakaya for a quick nine months, and 41 Ocean the members only club, which launched almost a year ago, is keeping its present digs under the new name 41 Ocean Member's Lounge.

Founder Jeremy Umland (Ozumo) is keeping chef Jimmy Martinez (BOA) onboard to execute a New American seasonal California menu, which could include tacos filled with the farmers market bounty and a tiramisu-inspired coffee-encrusted steak with a bleu cheese anglaise.

Designer Matt Winter who conceived the interior of 41 Ocean also spearheaded the aesthetic at 41 Ocean Restaurant with a similar eclectic mix of vintage pieces. Hours of operation at 41 Ocean Restuarant to run Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and nightly from 5 to 11 p.m. for dinner.
