Bourbon Steak in Glendale Aiming at Feb 2014 Debut

While Din Tai Fung opened to crowds on November 4, the adjacent Bourbon Steak, a high-end steakhouse from chef Michael Mina, was starting to fill in its anchor position at the Americana at Brand. Inside, the rough construction bits were finally going into shape with large stacks of drywall awaiting installation. It could only mean that the final phases of the build out were in progress, which firmly plants Bourbon Steak's opening some time in early 2014. It's a shame because a steakhouse of this stature would be a boon for this area during the holiday season. This is Michael Mina's foray back into L.A. after his recent involvement with the long-gone XIV on the Sunset Strip (though technically Mina did help consult on The Melt's menu). This Glendale location would be the fifth Bourbon Steak to open in the U.S.
