Alain Giraud of Maison Giraud in Pacific Palisades is throwing a truffle dinner party on December 19. The five-course prix fixe costs $150, and a wine pairing is $45 extra. The meal is by reservation only and right now seatings at 7:45 and 8 p.m. are left. Of note: After dinner a truffle truck will park outside the restaurant where patrons can purchase truffles to take home. [EaterWire]
