SushiStop Encino Switcheroo; Silver Take Up For Grabs

ENCINO— As of last Friday, SushiStop on Ventura has been bought out by another Japanese restaurant group based in Cincinnati, Ohio. No word on the timeline of changes to come but a new eatery will indeed take over. [EaterWire]

MEALS ON WHEELS— So this here is a sample menu for The Pudding Truck, a new dessert vehicle from owner Carrie Cohen. Flavors will change seasonally, as will toppings like clementine curd and peppermint candies. Cohen expects to roll out toward the end of January. [EaterWire]

SILVER LAKE— Remember Silver Take? From almost FIVE years ago? We barely do either. Anyway, the neighborhood-friendly Mediterranean eatery never got off the ground and it's now for sale and owners are asking almost $1.5 million. [The Eastsider]

HOLLYWOOD HILLS— Chef Roy Choi will make his comedy debut (seriously) at the Upright Citizens Brigade tomorrow, December 14. Choi Tweeted the show information earlier today, but tickets to his performance are already sold out. [-EN-]
