Remember how House Cafe on Beverly abruptly shuttered a few months ago? Well, the property is still under control of Bruce and son Max Marder (Capo, Cora's Coffee Shop), and they plan to reopen the restaurant, possibly named Marvin, as a French bistro in about two months. Capo/Cora's Coffee Shop chef Ricky Moreno will head the kitchen and Steven Arroyo of Escuela Taqueria has signed on to design the space. Ceiling ornamentation may or may not be involved. [EaterWire]
