Orchard Flats opened October 4 in Burbank and now the organic cold pressed juice bar is shacking up on Melrose this week. As with most juiceries in the city, Orchard Flats touts locally sourced fruits and veggies, in addition to local honey, and management even donates a portion of its HoneyBee juice line to honey bee charity ProjectApism.
Orchard Flats' $7 drinks come in flavors like Orchard 1 (honeydew, pineapple, pear, apple, orange), Enchanted Hazelnut Latte (espresso beans, water, hazelnuts, vanilla bean, dates, cacao, cinnamon), and Groundworks 2 (carrot, chard, bell pepper, cucumber, grapes, lemon). As expected juices can be ordered solo or in cleanse form.
Aggressive expansion plans are already in the works. Management is looking to open January 14 in Studio City (12328 Ventura Blvd.), followed by La Canada/FlyntRidge (838 1/2 FootHill Blvd.) about a month later, and finally a tba venue in Malibu.[EaterWire]
