DOWNTOWN— Little Tokyo's newest import is Wolf & Crane, a neighborhood bar opening Wednesday by team Michael Francesconi and Matthew Glaser. Instagram says the bar is pretty much in shape, ready to roll with wine, mostly craft beer on draft, and cocktails that involve Mexican Coke and root beer. Looks like snacks and cigs are planned as well. Per the Wolf & Crane website, this is "the first full-service bar to open within Little Tokyo in nearly a decade." [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN— The PacMutual building's restored outdoor courtyard on 6th Street between Grand and Olive will become the future dining patio for both Tender Greens and Le Pain Quotidien. Brigham Yen relays news that the expanse is under construction and LPQ should commence service on January 15, meanwhile Tender Greens is delayed until late February. [EaterWire]
CENTURY CITY—Westfield Mall inhabitants will have to wait a little bit longer for Meizhou Dongpo's "upscale civilian dishes." The imminent higher-end Sichuan restaurant was supposed to serve today, but the soft roll has been pushed to next week. The full public launch is set for mid-December. [EaterWire]
