Famed Brooklyn Pizzeria Paulie Gee's Looks For LA Turf

Game changing news in the world of pizza today. Brooklyn pizza phenom Paulie Gee's is expanding outside of Greenpoint and all across the country. Owner Paulie Giannone is partnering with pizza obsessives in Chicago, Oakland, Portland, Las Vegas, Columbus, Long Island, and Los Angeles to bring the restaurant's acclaimed wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas across the country in 2014 and 2015.

Lou Tomczak will be Giannone's partner in LA and the two are looking for a space in Highland Park, preferably on York Boulevard. Giannone told Eater National that Tomczak worked in the Brooklyn pizzeria and was one of his best dough makers. And he even has a pizza named after him. Get excited.
