The Joes's Pizza offshoot, Pizza Compagnia, on Colorado just off Ocean Avenue, has been serving food and drink to the people of Santa Monica since November 29. Rocking familiar Coca-Cola menu signage and New York-style Italian eats, many of which are on offer at the original Joe's on Broadway (just a block over, btw), the upside to this new sister property is more space, a slightly upgraded aesthetic, and a handful of tables (inside and out) plus bar seatage. In addition to Joe's Pizza pies, the menu is defined by antipasto, caprese, calzones, spaghetti with red sauce, and Tahitian vanilla bean cheesecake mousse.
