South Park will get yet another highrise hotel next to L.A. Live in the Renaissance, a 21-story luxury hotel that will also host a 500 seat restaurant and rooftop pool. With large-scale eateries like FigOly and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill on the block, the area is quickly become like Times Square or even the Vegas Strip. At this point, the only 500 seat restaurants around town are Cheesecake Factory and the like. Construction should be completed around 2017. [Curbed LA]
