Upon Scratch Bar's inception last June, chef Phillip Lee promised an additional chef's dining bar within the experimental La Cienega restaurant. This chef's table is now in action for 11 diners per seating (Mon-Fri at 7:30 p.m. and Sat/Sun at 6 and 9 p.m.), and Lee himself presides over the counter servings guests a mix of his signature dishes and specials which change nightly. Expect about 12-15 plates priced at $111. A beverage pairing is $40 extra. [EaterWire]
