According to reps, Real Food Daily at LAX's Terminal Four is the world's first ever entirely plant-based airport restaurant, open as of yesterday. The LA-based organic vegan chainlet hits travelers with a mix of salads, sandwiches and Basics, in addition to grab-and-go snacks and fresh juice.
Founded in 1993 by green foods proponent Ann Gentry, LAX marks RFD's fourth LA hub, with prior eateries set in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and Pasadena.
